Born and raised on the North Shore of British Columbia, Andrew remembers when his father gave him his first BMX bike at age 7. "My world changed!" he says. Biking isn't the only thing for Andrew, however. He recently camped at 14,000 feet just below Tilicho Lake in Nepal....though on a bike trip. "We stared right at Dhaulagiri," he says, "one of the big ones at 26,794 feet."
The two-time world cup DH winner will be featured in an upcoming issue of Bike Magazine for his recent trip to Nepal. And when he's not spending time with his family, biking, skiing, playing hockey or sleeping thousands of feet up a mountain, Andrew puts his time into his 10 year + baby of a creation, Summer Gravity Camps at the resort mountain bike mecca of the world, Whistler B.C.
Words to live by? If you're going to do, do it right now baby, do it with me.
